Friday my mother in law came in for one of our usually rainbow stage show. It was west side story. We went to the the empress of China on Henderson. We love it there cause we both love Chinese food and this place is amazing every time and also they will make almost everything gluten free for you which is perfect for me! The food was outstanding as always even with them being packed and everything came really quick.
We were in the front row as usually. She hand never seen west side story and I had only seen the movie. This is honestly one of the first rainbow stage shows I have been slightly disappointed in. It was still great tony was amazing. The smaller roles everyone did a great job. But both of us found Maria's accent horrible. she was suppose to be from Puerto Rico but she sounded like she was from the Ukraine. Also when she sang she made the accent stronger which bugged us both. When many people sing who are from the UK, Australia etc they lose a lot if not all of their accent. Over all we had a good night out :)
